Piczo is an entertainment and fashion driven platform that empowers teens worldwide to creatively express themselves, build a following, and stream life moments in a safe environment. Piczo’s super fast blog creation tool, customizable content, colorful graphics, video, and photo tools spotlight member creativity without requiring technical skills. Members share their life stories with friends by designing a blog or site with multiple pages featuring photos, graphics, videos, music, comment boards, games, and more. Each blog or site can be linked to other friends’ sites and users can follow and be followed, and share what they create on Facebook and Twitter. The end result is a vibrant, creative community where members are given the complete freedom to make a site, make friends, or make whatever.

Jim Conning founded Piczo in 2004 with a passion for amateur photography and wanted to find a way for anyone to upload and share photos online. In 2006, entirely through word of mouth, Piczo surpassed 10 million users. Stardoll acquired Piczo in 2009 and re-launched by adding a blogging platform with new features. There are currently 35 million sites to discover on Piczo, with a reach of 7 million monthly unique users globally. Piczo, part of the Stardoll Network is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden with offices in Germany, London and Los Angeles and is backed by two of the world’s top venture capital firms: Sequoia Capital and Index Ventures.
